ADRA

ADRA Philippines sent a service request November 14, for me to help out in Panay Island for 2 weeks. So that night, I flew from Manila to Iloilo City. This blog is my personal testimony.

I sit here at the head of this room and see all more than 60 people urgently typing into their laptops, barely noticing that it is already 1:30pm and lunch has already passed. Hunger is a small thing compared to the goal that we are trying to achieve. Flunctuating electricy causing the occassional blackout passes without incident because everyone is engrossed in helping the Filipino people recover from the devasted caused by supertyphoon Haiyan 14 days ago.

And I'm proud to be one who have the priviledge to actually witness it.
